Wexford formed a Republic between 1st June 1798 and 21st June 1798 when the rebels were then defeated and British rule was again established.

Three Bullet Gate New Ross
Three Bullet gate is located at the junction of Neville Street and Town Wall, New Ross. The battle of New Ross took place on 5th June. It concluded in a British Victory.
