Evoy's Forge




Evoy's Forge is located near Old Ross off the N25 between New Ross and Wexford Town

Inscription on the plaque:
"This Forge was one of the principal Pike making forges for the United Irish Insurgents during the 1798 Rebellion. It was restored by Carrigbyrne '98 Committee as a memorial to all the blacksmiths who forged pikes in 1798. Cóiríodh an chéarta seo in ómós do ghaibhne Uilig 1798"

Three Bullet Gate New Ross


Three Bullet gate is located at the junction of Neville Street and Town Wall, New Ross. The battle of New Ross took place on 5th June. It concluded in a British Victory.

Fuascailt


 'Fuascailt' is located on the N25 road between Wexford town and New Ross near the Wexford town end. It was unveiled in November 1998 and nearby is Church meadow where 80 men from the Royal Artillery and the Meath Militia who fought in the rebellion are buried
